Announcement of Fr. Moses’ Transition

The members of the MDM community, including Fr. Moses, have together discerned that Fr. Moses is being called by the Holy Spirit to a leave of absence from the Mission, beginning in late December. This is to permit his discernment of whether the Lord is calling him to MDM or to a similar but different mission. During this time he will be pursuing a Canon Law degree, however, he did not choose to leave in order to pursue his degree. Rather, when the decision was made that he would take a leave of absence, God’s Providence provided a very good opportunity for finishing the degree that he had already begun.

This has been a very hard decision that was not made lightly. It involves a painful sacrifice for all of us. But the whole reason for the Mission is to faithfully follow God’s call, trusting in Him beyond our understanding.

We hope that the Lord will bring Fr. Moses back to MDM to stay. We ask for your prayers. We believe that the Father, Who makes “all things work to the good for those who love Him,” will, through the pain of this trial, bless all involved.
Jesus, we trust in You.”
